From My Shelf is a series where I discuss games that I already own.
Zombie Run! is not the highest ranked game I own. It doesn’t have a very unique theme or mechanic. It’s not a huge meaty game at all, but it’s one I’ve enjoyed quite a bit despite all these things.

Playing Zombie Run! is pretty simple. The object of the game is to have the least amount of zombies chasing you at the end of 5 rounds. Each player gets 4 cards placed face down in front of them. Then, each player can look at two of their own cards. The rest of the cards are placed in a deck in front of the players who then draw and have the choice of replacing one of their own cards with the new one or discarding the new card. When a player believes they have the least amount of zombies, they can, on their turn end the round by making a zombie noise or something of that nature.
My sister is the one who purchased this game and our family has enjoyed it a lot, even though it’s technically a children’s game. We’ll often play multiple times in a night since it is so quick and fun. It’s a great game for everyone, especially those who are looking for a nice light filler game.
Zombie Run! is published by Haywire Group. The game plays from 2 to 7 players, ages 7+, and plays in about 15 minutes.
Until next time, remember to play fair and have fun!
